Having retired to the Heart of the North Country (central Michigan) in 2014, Dr. Publicus is the pen-name I use to write stories and reviews of local, family-owned and operated businesses, and community-centered activities of interest to our many visitors.
I have a background as a former international journalist, criminal and civil investigator, and Doctor of Forensic Psychology (PsyD).
